About EZ Forecasting
Free, private forecasting tools for small businesses. Paste your numbers, get a forecast you can explain, and keep your data to yourself.
EZ Forecasting helps small business owners, managers and side-hustlers answer everyday planning questions: what sales might look like next year, how many sales it takes to break even, how fast the business is growing, and how long the cash will last.
Your numbers stay on your device
Every tool on this site runs in your web browser. The numbers you paste or type are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The forecast tool remembers your last data in your own browser's storage so it's there next time; clear it with the Clear button or your browser's site data settings.
How the forecasts work
The forecast tool uses well-established methods described in Forecasting: Principles and Practice by Rob J Hyndman and George Athanasopoulos, a free textbook used in university courses: simple benchmark methods, trend lines and exponential smoothing, including Holt-Winters for seasonal data. It tests each method on your most recent values and picks the one that did best. See forecasting methods explained.
Not financial advice
Forecasts and calculator results are estimates for planning. They're not financial, tax or investment advice. For decisions with real money at stake, check with an accountant or financial adviser.
How the site is funded
EZ Forecasting may show advertising and earn commissions from links to accounting and business software in the future to cover its costs. Advertisers and partners don't influence the tools or guides. If you spot a problem, please tell us.
